Only 36 clasps for Gambia issued to the Royal Navy, including 28 to the Forte.

Albert William Woodward was born on 1 December 1874, and joined the Navy at Haslar Hospital as a Probationary Sick Berth Attendant in August 1896. He served aboard Forte from April 1899 to May 1902, and was finally discharged to shore in May 1913 having served 10 days detention for ‘misconduct in the sick bay’. Sold with copy service record.
