Naval General Service 1793-1840, 2 clasps, 1 June 1794, St. Vincent (James Mitchell) additionally inscribed before and after his name ‘Burflour. Feby. 14. 97’ and ‘The Glory’, minor edge bruising, otherwise better than very fine £1200-1500

Confirmed on the roll as an Able Seaman aboard H.M.S.
Glory at the First of June and aboard Barfleur at St Vincent. The roll also shows entitlement to the clasp for Bridport’s action of 23rd June 1795. Several other men with these names are shown on the Admiralty roll.
