Lieutenant Kennet Mackenzie Douglas was commissioned into the 7th battalion, Seaforth Highlanders in September 1914. He first went to France in October 1915, receiving a bullet wound in the left arm on 24 November 1915. He was not fit for active service again until October 1916 when he was attached to the King’s African Rifles for service in Africa. He died on 9 December 1918 and is buried at Zomba Town Cemetery, East Africa. He was additionally entitled to the 1914-15 Star. Sold with copied research.
